Our production

OUR MANUFACTURING IS 100% EUROPEAN AND HANDMADE:
COMFORT & QUALITY

Chatelles slippers are handmade. Inspired by English history, designed in Paris, then made from the best Italian leather by the expert hands of the artisans in our workshop, found in a little village in the North of Portugal.

The insole was created following the advice of a podiatrist: 9mm of comfort and 3 layers (4mm thick latex heel, then a memory foam 4mm thick insole and finally an 1mm-thick insole of soft natural leather with a Victor Hugo verse engraved on it). The heel is 14mm-high and is made from natural rubber..

All in all, 23mm in height of real comfort, beneficial for one’s knees, back and neck. They’re ideal for walking around and for any occasion. The exterior sole is made of recycled lasting materials, the leather aspect is ultra resistant, flexible enough to absorb shock and what’s more – 100% waterproof!
